This Buddhist restaurant goes way beyond the usual tofu 'n' broccoli to serve innovative and delicious vegetarian dishes – fried rice with black truffle and pine nuts, seaweed-wrapped tofu rolls, and the city's best vegetarian Sichuan dishes prepared by its sister restaurant a few floors up, San Xi Lou. Excellent all-veggie dim sum, served at lunch, will please even dedicated carnivores.

The decor resembles a rustic inn, with servers dressed in tunics like students in period dramas.
