Cheong Kee

Hong Kong in Wan Chai & Northeast Hong Kong Island

This scrappy little dai pai dong (food stall) above a wet market is one of Hong Kong's most venerable cha chaan tangs, beloved for its ultrathick toast drenched in condensed milk and peanut butter. Milk tea is silky-sweet, while local comfort foods such as pork-chop noodles and char siu with egg are well above average.

It's the first stall you come to as you enter the cooked food centre. No English menu but some of the staff speak a little.
