In 2003, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province decided to build a new site for Guangdong Museum in Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou. On May 18th , 2010, the brand-new Guangdong Museum was opened for business.Guangzhou Opera House: The biggest performing center in southern China and is one of the three biggest theaters in the nation. It was designed by famous late Iraqi architect, Zaha Hadid.Zhujiang Inpub International Beer Museum: The magnificent beer museum stands out against the dazzling Pearl River with lush green trees all around. You will gasp at its glitzy appearance like a beer barrel guarded by two colorful glass buildings. It is also known as Pearl River-Inbev international beer museum.Beijing Road Pedestrian Street: A must-see place when visiting Guangzhou. Even if you do not really come here to shop, the place is still very enjoyable. You could walk along the streets, browse all kinds of stores available there, or simply soak up the atmosphere.
