Sleeping

There aren't a lot of sleeping options open to international travellers in Èrlián. If you need to stay overnight, travellers report that the Erenhot Rurouni Youth Hostel (Chahar'er Jie) is a passable budget option, while the Naxiduo Hotel Heart Posthouse (Konglong Jie) offers very large rooms and a central location.

Eating

Èrlián isn't a culinary wonderland, but you can find small restaurants serving Mongolian food, as well as dumplings and noodles, on the streets south of Xinhua Dajie. There is a ramshackle open-air vegetable market, as well as several small supermarkets, on Sunite Jie east of Chengxin Lu. The big shopping centres on the corner of Sunite Jie and Qianjin Lu have some familiar fast food options.

Drinking & Nightlife

There is very little nightlife in Èrlián, but there are a few places to do karaoke, including a KTV bar on Youyi Lu south of Xinhua Dajie.
