A useful lunch stop between the Drum Tower and Nanluogu Xiang, this long established restaurant – largely overlooked by Chinese tourists –serves authentic Taipei-style street snacks. Feast on warming rice bowls topped with fried chicken cutlets, homemade squid ball soup, oyster omelettes and glutinous rice sausages. A Taiwanese couple own the place: she handles customers and he cooks.
