Raise a flagon of Beijing's original and best craft beer at this industrial-chic outpost of Great Leap, a couple of clicks north of the Sanlitun action. A chalkboard lists the myriad beer styles on tap, which are best paired with the fabulous New York–style pizza (¥110 to ¥140 for a 16-inch monster). Non-drinkers are catered for with the craft ginger soda, a spiced-up sensation.
Pizza is also available by the slice (¥35, two choices daily), while the sinful cheeseburger (double beef double cheese) has become a minor Beijing celebrity. If the weather is good, seek out the little-used roof terrace. If coming in a group, it's worth booking a table, although you'll have to arrive before 7pm, or 6pm on weekends.
