As the skies clear and foliage bursts into colour, autumn is arguably the most pleasant season in Beijing. Located about 120 kilometers (75 miles) away from Beijing downtown, Lingshan Mountain Scenic Area has more than 800 varieties of plants and 825 acres of woods and the highest peak around Beijing which is renowned as “Beijing's Mount Everest”. In this trip, you can enjoy autumn scenery to your heart's content while dodging the crowd. To make it a special trip for you, the one-day hike will also provide afternoon tea and photo services for everyone.
We will start our trip from our meeting point Xinxing Hotel (Gongzhufen Subway Station) and then take the bus to Ta'ersi Village in Hebei Province. The drive is about 2.5 hours and our hiking leader will briefly introduce our destination and tell everyone some hiking tips. We will do some warm-up exercise before we start hiking.
It takes us about 2 hours to hike up the Northern Lingshan Mountain. We will have a rest on the top of the mountain, so everyone can have time to enjoy beautiful autumn scenery and take pictures. We also prepare drinks and beers for everyone to celebrate. An hour later, we'll return to Ta'ersi Village and enjoy delicious local food. After lunch, we will continue our quest and hike the grassland, where everyone can watch leaves with the bright hues of orange, gold and crimson. Here comes the most pleasurable part of this trip---having afternoon tea on the gold meadow! You can chat with your new friends, savoring your tea and marvel at the wonderful nature.
During the whole process, our professional photographer will record this trip for you. At about 16:30, we will start head back and finish the trip about 19:30.
