All of our tours will begin very close to Beixinqiao subway station at Culture Yard, 10 Shique Hutong. Our most popular tour of Old Beijing will set off on a lap of the surrounding Shique Hutong, where we will begin our historical journey. After we are comfortable on the electric bicycles, we will exit the Hutong onto Ghost Street. This is the most popular street to eat in Beijing and it has a great story behind the name. Turning off of Ghost street leads smoothly towards Lama Temple, which is the only active Buddhist temple in Beijing. The neighbouring temple to Lama Temple, is another gem in the heart of Beijing. This is the Confucius Temple. A temple with a lot of character and wisdom.  We will now spend some time again taking in the magical Hutongs and navigate our way towards the Drum & Bell Tower. Here we always stop for a game of a very traditional Chinese game. After we have tested our skills with a Jian Zi, we head towards Houhai lake. This picturesque lake is a beautiful spot to stop, chill, see an awesome view of the city and often witness the local swimmers enjoying themselves. Although it's often hard to leave this spot, we will move on now through the Hutongs again, to reach the Forbidden City. We will arrive at the locals favourite view point of the momentous city, smack bang in the middle of Beijing. The tour is coming to a close and we will now head back north, through a magnificent branching stream from Qianhai lake. A truly wonderful part of Beijing, before we cross Nanluoguxiang, which is one of the most popular Hutong shopping streets in Beijing. It is now a smooth and enjoyable ride back to Shique Hutong, where we started the tour and where we will end with a nice hot or cold drink inside the amazing Hutong Courtyard.
