Visit Badaling Remnant Great Wall which is less crowded and retains more of its original character on this private day tour. Also enjoy an exquisite lunch at the Courtyard Restaurant at the Commune by the Great Wall. The Commune by the Great Wall is a private collection of contemporary architecture and boutique hotel near the Badaling, where it has its own private path to the Great Wall. Later experience the ancient culture of Beijing's once forbidden Imperial City with visits to Guozijian Hutong and wandering around Wudaokou Hutong.
At 8:30AM, our guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer you to Badaling Remnant Great Wall. You will arrive there at 10:00AM and then begin your sightseeing tour for about 1.5 hours. The Badaling Remnant Great Wall is the southwest expanded section of the famous Badaling Great Wall. This 2,000-meter section retains its original form, and reproduces the character of the Ming Great Wall. It is perfect for tourists who want to avoid the crowds at Badaling Great Wall and want to enjoy more authentic flavor of the Great Wall. At 12:00PM, enjoy a Chinese lunch at Courtyard Restaurant in the Commune by the Great Wall, a boutique hotel near the Badaling Remnant Great Wall where you will admire modern art and architecture. The Courtyard Restaurant offers a warm and comfortable dinning atmosphere, as well as a gourmet style dining experience. It serves a range of exquisite and tasteful Chinese or western cuisines. At 1:00PM, you will be taken back to the downtown and visit Beijing’s Imperial City. The Imperial City is a section of the city of Beijing with the Forbidden City at its center. It includes a collection of gardens, shrines, and areas of Inner City of ancient Beijing often missed by visitors. Enjoy your imperial walk by strolling the Guozijian Hutong and Wudaokou Hutong. Guozijian Hutong is one of the top ten Hutongs in Beijing while Wudaokou Hutong is less touristy, a wonderful place to sit down for coffee or tea at the bar. Tour concludes at 5:00PM with a drop-off at your hotel.
