Shadow Play is an ancient Chinese traditional folk art, which old Beijingers call the "donkey shadow shadow". In 2011, Shadow Play was selected to be part of the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage list. This activity is held in an ancient courtyard with a professional shadow opera theater to show you the traditional repertoire. After the show concludes, you can meet the Shadow Play master and try your turn as a shadow opera artist and personally experience the charm of shadow play.
