Do you know Chinese Toufu? Yes!!! Do you know why Chinese people like Toufu? Nope!!Do you know how to make Chinese Toufu? Not yet! When I was little back to 1970s&1980s. We had no enough money to buy meat. So the whole year around were waiting for our parents make Toufu. That was more than everything. When we made Toufu whole families members came and help. That will took about 3 hours around. Use very big vok and Burning wood to boil it. And all kids stay around vok waiting for soy milk -- soy milk skin --Toufu jelly --- toufu!!!!! That was wonderful afternoon!!! But most of young people like my generation went to city. No much people know how to make it in traditional way anymore. This tour is not only for Toufu. We will go to local family in small village where is far away from city to see local farmer's real life. You will taste fresh Toufu products. And local meals there.
Pick you up from hotel by 8:00am from your hotel. We will stop at convenient store buy some snacks to kill the driving time on the way to village. The village is similar driving time to Great Wall which is around 2+hours. We are going to pass the city-county-town- mountain-great Wall - village- to local home. Then local family will show us all detail from very beginning to done. You will do it with local owner of the house step by steps. You will taste all different products during making time. Of course the owner will cook lunch for us as well. But I think you will feels full before lunch. lol. After all we will back to city. We could stop any place on the way if you want to. Other very important is that no pollution out over there.
