Worth while spending time to visit this place - takes you back in time. You can be the only foreigners in the area but do not feel out of place. The inhabitants and people are very friendly but they do not see many foreigners and tend to gaze if you are not a local. Later in the afternoon, we will start hiking Mount Fengqi. The mountain trails provide an excellent combination of natural beauty and authentic rural life. At the beginning of the hike, you will see old ladies selling fresh vegetables, eggs and herbs from the mountain. We will start hiking by the Wugui Pond crossing through several wooden bridge and rolling green peaks. All the mountain springs gather here making the pond never overflow or dry all the year. The trails naturally leads through densely bamboo bushes and rural farms. We are expecting to see old farmers busy with farming or drinking tea and playing board games.
