Santiago City Tour and Concha y Toro Winery

4-Hour Tour of Concha y Toro Vineyard from Santiago

You have probably already tried a Concha y Toro wine before. Don't miss out on the opportunity to visit the cellars of one of the largest wine exporters in Latin America. This vineyard is one of the most important wine brands in the world, with a presence in over 130 countries. Their cellars are located in the picturesque region of Pirque. You can take a tour of them as well as visiting the gardens of the Concha y Toro’s family summer house, which dates back to the 19th century. Enjoy walking through the park and grounds of the house, as well as visiting the mixed garden, which has 26 different varieties of grapes. You will also visit the storage cellars including the legendary centenary Casillero del Diablo cellar. The tour includes a special wine tasting as well as a visit to the vineyard shop.

CAJON DEL MAIPO: Morning Horseback Ride and Afternoon Wine Tour & Tasting

Join us for a spectacular horseback ride in the Cajon del Maipo Valley.  After a one-hour drive from Santiago into the Andes Mountains, we will arrive at Cascada de Las Animas in the small town of San Alfonso on the banks of the Maipo River.  Cascada de Las Animas has more than 25 years of experience in ecotourism with 8,000 acres of mountain ranges, valleys, springs, and waterfalls. You will be guided by “arrieros” (local cowboys) as you take in the stunning vistas and admire the abundant flora and fauna from horseback. We will scale narrow mountain trails, have a short break on a hilltop while enjoying the gorgeous surroundings.  We may even see some amazing Chilean condors flying high in the sky.  The riding time is approximately 2 hours. There is no experience needed. We use the small but sturdy “criollo” horses who make everyone feel at ease.  After riding, we will have lunch at one of the quaint restaurants in the small Andean village of San Jose de Maipo, followed by a visit to the Concha y Toro Wine Vineyard in the picturesque town of Pirque for a tour and wine tasting.
