We continue onwards to Puñihuil, the small island of Puñihuil is a protected national monument and a paradise for bird watchers. It is the only place in the world where both Humboldt and Magallenic Penguins nest next to each other. We head back towards Ancud to visit San Antonio, a local museum full of interesting history, myths and legends, as well as an artisan market that will make this trip truly unforgettable.
We sail to a small group of islands located in the northern coast of ChiloÃ© to see a colony of Magellanic and Humboldt penguins. This is the only place in the Pacific Ocean where this type of penguins are seen, as they migrate during the summer. In this place we can navigate and have lunch (optional). Then we continue our tour through the âisla grandeâ (ChiloÃ©) passing by Mar Brava, a large lonely beach from where weâll see the ocean in all its splendor. Then we continue to Caulin, a small fishing village where we enjoy a varied avifauna and its colorful houses that make this place unique. To finish the day, we will head to Ancud to visit its market.
