Admire the beautiful penguins in Magdalena Island.
07:00 AM Departure from your hotel in Puerto Natales to go to the jetty located in the sector of Bahía Laredo a trip that lasts for 2:30 h around 224 Kms approximately, arriving at 09:30 AM, the departure is made at 10:00 AM approximately. After 30 to 45 minutes of navigation through the waters of the Strait of Magellan, we reach Isla Marta and then Isla Magdalena.Marta Island shelters more than 1,000 sea lions, as well as Cormorants, Skuas, Austral Wagtails, Antarctic Doves and Marine Elephants. Magdalena Island hosts and allows interaction with one of the largest colonies of Magellanic Penguins, exceeding 150,000. During the navigation it is possible to see Austral Dolphins and Oyster Shells. Marta Island can only be circumnavigated and in this way observe and photograph the sea lion colony and the diversity of seabirds of the place. On Magdalena Island you can disembark for about an hour, to walk and interact with the colony, in addition to visiting the Lighthouse that is located in the same place. At the end of the excursion we return to the jetty, finally returning to Puerto Natales arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
