An interpretive hike for all ages. It takes about 4 to 5 hours, with beautiful views of the coast and the cliffs. It is located in Quirilluca; a priority site for conservation due to its high endemism and endangered species. The common booby that occurs on these cliffs is the only one in the central area of Continental Chile and from the same cliffs you can also observe the presence of the sea otter (Chungungo). The relict forest of the quebrada Quirilluca gathers the most coastal population of Bellotos del Norte, centenary tree that gives the landscape the memory of other times.DURATION 4-5 hours approx.LOCATION Cliffs of the QuirillucaSEASON All year roundMINIMUM OF PERSONS 2 Passengers.DIFFICULTY Hiking of low intensity.RESTRICTIONS Cardiovascular problems, asthma.MINIMUM AGE 14 years.
Transfer and the guide pick you up at your Hotel, to take you to Puchuncaví. The hike begins in Maitencillo's Beach, were we will hike until Acantilados de la Quirilluca, habitat of some of the most representative species of the Valparaíso Region, such as the sea otter and the Belloto del Norte and priority site of preservation and conservation. We will pass through five differents ecosystems; Interdital, Cliffs, Meadow and Sclerophyllous Forest. Finally We will get to Quirilluca's beach to make a stope and have lunch before coming back.
