Getting There & Away
Owen Roberts International Airport is the transportation hub for all three Cayman Islands, with regular flights to the US, Canada and the UK, as well as the Sister Islands.
There’s a taxi stand just outside the airport exit. Fares are set by the government: the dispatcher will give you a receipt, though you pay the driver. Expect to pay US$15 to George Town, US$25 to Seven Mile Beach, US$70 to East End and US$80 to Rum Point.
Hotels are not permitted to collect guests at the airport, though some hotels will pay your taxi fare upon arrival.
Several car-rental agencies, including Andy's Rent-a-Car, Avis, Budget and Economy Car Rental, have offices across the road from the terminal (exit the terminal and cross the road to the left); some also have outlets across the island.
There is no bus service to the airport.
