The Whistler Sky Walk is a guided interpretive hike with amazing views at the top of Whistler Mountain. Follow your guide on a hike and clip your harness into a cable so you can walk safely along the cliff edge and across the bridges and features high above Whistler. This 2 hour tour is fairly easy and is great for ages 8 and up to get a local’s view of the mountain in the summer away from the crowds. You will see the gorgeous mountain peaks surrounding Whistler, the valleys and lakes all around, and if you are lucky you might even see Whistler's namesake, the marmot.
Tours start by getting everyone into their harness and helmet as part of the tour involves walking along a cliff edge where we are safely secured to cables by our harnesses. The guide will point out local viewpoints, talk about the history and geology of Whistler and discuss local plants and creatures that you might see along the way. Tours are provided in English. Peak 2 Peak gondola tickets are required and not included in the tour price. Please bring along water and a jacket. Weather up on the mountain top is often 10 degrees cooler than down in Whistler Village so be prepared cool or wet conditions, just in case. Tours run in all weather.
