It looks like a regular, sometimes overly loud, neighborhood sports bar from the outside, but step inside St Aug's and you'll find dozens of on-tap microbrews – one of the largest selections in the city. Most are from BC – look for highlights from Dageraad Brewing, 33 Acres and Central City – but there's an intriguing selection from south of the border as well.
If you're just not sure what to order, ask for the four-glass tasting flight. The food is of the standard pub-grub variety. Check the website to see what's on draft before you arrive: it has a clever 'live beer menu' that shows how much of each brew is left.
