The Muskoka area is famous for its natural beauty - lush forests, granite rocks, and clear lakes. We are going to explore Algonquin park, the oldest provincial park in Canada!
We will canoe for two hours on Canoe Lake (don't worry if you don't have any experience, lesson and life west is provided), hike two different trails, swim in the lake (you can jump off the cliffs at the small island) and we will try to spot some wildlife (we can ofter see beavers, moose, fox, chipmunks, wild turkey, turtle, squirels and sometimes black bear or wolf!).
You will meet with the tour guide at one of our pick up locations at Dufferin Mall or York Mills subway station. We will start our tour at Ragged waterfalls (hidden gem of Algonquin Park). This is a short 20 minutes hike and than we will continue to Canoe Lake for 2 hours of canoeing. You will be sharing canoe with two other people and if you don't have any canoeing experience, don't worry. You will get instructions before and our tour guide will be canoing with the group. You will also get life jacket. We will stop at the small island, where we will park our canoes and you will get some time for swimming. You can also jump off the small cliff if you are brave enough.
After canoeing we will hike two short or one longer trail with different lookouts. We will also visit Algonquin park visitor centre. We will provide lunch on the tour (bottle water, snacks and cold cut sandwich).
