Parc Linéaire du P'tit Train du Nord

Top choice cycling

in The Laurentians

This awesome trail system is built on top of old railway tracks and snakes 232km north from Bois-de-Filion to Mont Laurier, passing streams, rivers, rapids, lakes and great mountain scenery. In summer it's open to bicycles and in-line skates, and you'll find rest stops, information booths, restaurants, B&Bs, and bike-rental and repair shops along the way.

Snow season lures cross-country skiers to the 42km-long section between St-Jérôme and Val-David, while snowmobile aficionados rule between Val-David and Mont Laurier (49km).

For bike rentals and shuttle services along the route, contact Autobus Le Petit Train du Nord.
