La Cuisine

Diner in Outside Old Québec

Retro decor and comfort food served till the wee hours are the hallmarks of this cool, low-lit hangout between St-Jean-Baptiste and St-Roch. Formica tables, mismatched china and silverware, light fixtures made from colanders, a vintage Wurlitzer jukebox and an oversized Lifesavers roll give the place a fun, relaxed feel. On weekend nights, DJs spin everything from electronica to soul.

The menu features five no-nonsense mains each day, from stuffed cabbage to shepherd's pie; if you’re still hungry, you can add soup of the day for $3, or coffee and dessert for $4.
