A fantastic alternative to Niagara, Prince Edward County has been getting more and more popular over the past few years due to its fabulous wines, charming feel and beautiful landscapes. After picking you up from your accommodation in Toronto, you will head to Prince County for the day. Along the way, your guide will tell you all about the region, its climate and geology, often compared with Burgundy, as well as the latest trends in winemaking taking place in this thriving new region. The county is home to farmers, chefs, and cheese makers, and because eating is not cheating, a delicious local lunch is provided at mid-day. There will also be chances for tasting local delicacies and visiting small towns throughout the trip. After visiting the final vineyard, depart for your accommodation around 5pm (traffic can affect the timing of drop-off). If you have an interest in beer or spirits, we can substitute a winery for other tasting experiences.
