Do a TT search! At least five posters a week ask what to do in Toronto, whether to go visit Niagara Falls on their way around the world, and whether it's possible to work under the table/overstay a tourist visa. The road is well travelled. Find those threads, add a reply (which brings the…
Hi guys, a friend and I are planning on travelling from california to canada/alaska. We'd like to convert a second hand van go all the way up and spend sometime skiing in the north, but most of all we want to step off the beaten paths, leave the van behind and live into the wild for two weeks (approx.), hunting, fishing etc, do you know if it's possible ? are there any organisations that offers such kind of trips ?
I'll be arriving at Toronto intl. Airport from Peru on tuesday september 25th at 11.40 and depaeting at 22.10 towards Spain.
I'll be traveling on a single ticket so I won't need to pick up and re-check my bags in Toronto.
Do you think I'll have enough time to see Niagara falls? I'm planning to rent a car, but if it's more time effective i'm open to taking a taxi.
From my calculations I should be able to make it if everything will go as scheduled.

I'm backpacking through Banff national park in early July.
Everything was sorted till I realised there are no campgrounds for me and my single tent left around Lake Louise......
My plan was to just stay a couple of nights to see the highlights of the area.
Can anyone help me out on this one?
I know wildcamping is strictly forbidden....But it might end up being my only option on a limited budget...
I'm a very friendly, 21 year old Scandinavian btw!
Im a solo female traveller, planning on hitching my way to Vancouver about 4th/5h July, after spending a good weeks time in Banff National Park.
Any experience with doing this? I am mostly wondering how long this could take me? is 2-3 days unrealistic?
I plan on hitching a way passing through Okanagan Valley to see that part as well.
Hi everyone! I'm hoping to get up to Cape Scott and do the Northcoast Trail this spring. Does anyone know when the muddiest times end? I want to get a head start (before it gets busy) but don't want to be in knee deep mud the whole trek. Thanks in advance.
we will be staying near Toronto airport for one day .whatt is the best way to get to the Niagara falls from there for a day trip ? or is it better just to take a day tour with a coach company ?
My husband and I are driving up to Calgary from San Francisco in July. We are debating between 2 options:
1) San Francisco --> Portland --> Seattle/Vancouver --> Kamloops --> Revelstoke --> Banff --> Calgary
2) San Francisco --> Reno --> Twin Falls --> Idaho Falls --> Butte --> Great Falls --> Calgary
We would like to complete this trip in 2.5 days (not much time for pit stops) but we are looking for the most scenic route! (Mountains, valleys, etc.)
Please help! Thank you!
Denverite trying to plan a trip to the Rockies near Calgary. I'm debating flying in June 26th or July 1st; either way, I will pick up a friend from the airport at 9 pm July 3rd, and drop him off noon July 8th. I will fly back home the evening of the 10th.
My friend and I plan to hike / camp in the more popular areas of Banff / Lake Louise / Jasper.
Are there any spots you'd recommend I visit solo before my friend arrives, or in the 1.5 days I have after he leaves? Kootenay, GNP of…
