Voyageur Canoe

Canoeing in Kouchibouguac National Park

A must-do activity, especially for non-hikers, is this wonderful canoeing experience. You paddle a four- or eight-person Canadian canoe to the sandy barrier islands, learning about the Mi’kmaq way of life and bird-watching along the way. A highlight is observing the grey seals; between 300 to 600 return to these feeding grounds each summer.
