Diner in Victoria

A garage-rehabilitation project with a galactic theme, Pluto's is the only remaining Phillips 66 'bat-wing'-style gas station left in Canada, although the gas these days is milkshakes and diner-style breakfasts, rather than Shell oil. Each booth is named for a planet (Mercury abuts the window) and the menu peaks with the pesto-shrimp benny accompanied by lashings of hollandaise.

Daredevils can wash their meal down with a jalapeño-flavored milkshake.
