Crow and Gate

Top choice Pub

in Nanaimo

Taking you back to dear ole Blighty (England) is this out-of-town Brit-style pub with a dark, wood-beam interior and a wonderfully stodgy menu of housemade pies, Scotch eggs and bangers and mash. Providing a beery backup is a formidable lineup of foamy drafts including Guinness and English-style (but BC-brewed) Blue Buck Ale.

It's 13km from town, but insanely popular, especially in the summer when you can sit in the idyllic country garden and quaff to your heart's content. No minors.
