Meet at the Banff Canoe Club (Corner of Wolf Street & Bow Avenue) for your guided evening or early morning river tour. Upon arrival you will meet your tour guide who will check you in and kit you out with your life jacket and paddle. The first 30 minutes of the tour includes dry land instruction and information about the animals that reside in Banff National Park and beyond and conservation practices due to increased human interaction. Once everyone is ready to go, your friendly guide will load you into one of our Big 12-seater canoes to start your water tour. As you paddle as a team, with the guide steering the boat and regaling you with local stories and information, you will make your way up the Bow River. Whilst wildlife is not guaranteed on this tour, you will be provided with the opportunity to learn about the habitat in which they live. As your guide will steer the boat around, you can find relief in the gentle current that will float you downstream back to canoe docks. You will be on the water for approximately 1 hour. After your tour you will be provided with a souvenir for lasting memories on the water.
