Be dazzled by a sky full of more stars than you can possibly imagine. Join our skilled guide on a star and moonlit hike through the Kananaskis forest. This hike is sure to open your senses and change your perspective; even a familiar trail looks different after hours!In an open meadow, your group will pause to relax and take in the night sky; you are welcome to bring a camera and tripod to try out some astrophotography or to just hang out with the group, peek through the telescope and chat about astronomy.Certified guide, snowshoes (if needed), headlamp, hot drink and cookie included. This tour is suitable for children 13 years and older.

Certified guide, snowshoes (if needed), headlamp, hot drink and cookie included. This tour is suitable for children 13 years and older. • Meet at Kananaskis Outfitters 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to fill out waivers and get geared up. • Tours depart promptly at the designated time. • The group will hike/snowshoe for approximately 2 hours, stopping along the way to view the night sky, take pictures and have a hot drink. Depending on conditions, you may be required to drive ~5 minutes to the trailhead in your own vehicle.  Directions from Calgary: • Trans-Canada Hwy West from Calgary or Trans Canada Hwy East from Banff • South on Hwy #40 • Right on Mt.
