Discover this 6000 year old mode of transportation. Embrace the Winter by walking across the thick snow pack instead of through it. While we journey, we will teach you the history of the Kananaskis valley. In the quiet and serenity of our snow covered forests you’ll learn how different species survive this harsh season.This tour runs from 10am till 12pm, or 1pm till 3pm daily. 

Tour Details • Meet at the Kananaskis Outfitters Shop 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to fill out waivers and get geared up (snowshoes are included in the Tour). • Tours depart promptly at the designated time. • The group will snowshoe for approximately 2 hours on trails in the Kananaskis Village area.Directions to Kananaskis Outfitters: • Travel on the Trans-Canada Hwy West from Calgary or Trans-Canada Hwy East from Banff • Turn South on Hwy #40 • Turn Right on Mt. Allen Drive • Turn Left on Centennial Drive • Turn Right on Mt. Sparrowhawk Cr, and park in the Public Parking. • Kananaskis Outfitters is located in the Kananaskis Village Center, look for our signs and store by the pond located next to the Hotel.Physical Address1 Mt.
