We are going to visit Angkor National Museum which is dedicated to the preservation of Angkorian artifacts, it also explains about Khmer art and culture from the Khmer empire. Most items in the collection date from the 9th century to the 14th century. We'll then head over to Wat Thmei pagoda which is on the way to Angkor Wat. Here you can learn more about Cambodia's tragic past as it was formerly the site of a killing field during the Khmer Rouge regime. We'll then go to see Artisans d'Angkor where you can see local craftmanship including stone and wood carvings and more. We'll then stop for lunch at a restaurant of your choice. And then we move Tonle Sap lake. You can witness first-hand how the locals have adapted to living their lives there.
