Parque Natural Serra da Malagueta

Cabo Verde

Parque Natural Serra da Malagueta encompasses the dramatic, tumbling ridges 15 minutes' drive back along the road to Praia. There are a number of spectacular and fairly well-signposted walking trails that weave up and down valleys and through hamlets, and they might just provide a chance encounter with one of Santiago's elusive vervet monkeys.

Pick up a walking map at the park entrance.
