    The Mall

BSB's prime shopping location offers four floors of Asian and global brands, plus a striking ceiling mural of a Royal Brunei Airlines plane careering across the sky. There's a useful supermarket, an excellent and inexpensive food court (on the 3rd floor) and an eight-screen cineplex, the most popular in Brunei.

    Arts & Handicrafts Training Centre

Sells silverwork, carved wood items, ornamental silver cannons (B$1000) and gong sets (B$1400), handmade, embroidered shirts (B$897) and sinjang (embroidered cloth traditionally worn by local men around their waist), made by the centre's students and graduates. The jong sarat (hand-woven cloth made from gold and silver threads) is gorgeous. The centre is on the river, 600m east of Sungai Kianggeh.

    Dewan Sumbangsih Mulia

A wallet-friendly spot for those looking to buy genuine local crafts, this place combines a craft market with some cheapo food stalls. Head upstairs for finely woven cloth or browse the ground-level stalls for bamboo fish traps and intricately woven containers made by the Murut, Iban and Kedayan people.
