Journey into a land that time forgot and conquer the pre-Cambrian tabletop summit of Roraima. The stunning mountain is sacred to the region's indigenous people and is said to have inspired Arthur Conan Doyle’s "The Lost World." Take time to explore the unique flora and fauna – some of which is completely unique to the mountain. The trek itself takes six days start to finish but this two-week adventure also includes canoe trips in Canaima National Park and a thrilling trek to Angel Falls. If you're fit and want to get off the beaten track, this adventure will take you to new heights.

Day 1 Caracas Arrive at any time. Additional Notes: Note: Entry laws have been changed. Foreign visitors must be able to show they are covered by travel insurance. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting
Day 2 Caracas/Ciudad Bolívar (1D) After departing Caracas in the morning, head east along the Caribbean coast before turning south to Ciudad Bolivar. Along the way you will be able to spot some of the country's largest oil refineries which finance the country's economy and keep gas prices down to about 10 cents per litre. Transport: Local bus (6.00-7.00 hours, 550km) Overnight bus (9.00-10.00 hours, 700km)
Day 3 Santa Elena de Uairén (1L) Free time to relax or explore the city while preparing for the trek.
Day 4 Santa Elena de Uairén/Kukenan (1B, 1L, 1D) Begin the trek through the prehistoric wilderness heading for the summit of Roramia. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Trek Day 1 Transport: Drive out to the start point of the Roraima trek. Private Vehicle (1.00-2.00 hours)
Day 5 Kukenan/Mt Roraima (1B, 1L, 1D) Continue trekking through the Gran Sabana to reach base camp. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Trek Day 2
Day 6 Roraima Base Camp/Mt Roraima (1B, 1L, 1D) Guided hike up the mountain with a full day and a half spent at the summit to appreciate the unique ecosystem and spectacular views into neighboring Brazil and Guyana. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Trek Day 3 Mount Roraima Summit
Day 7 Mt Roraima (1B, 1L, 1D) Continue to explore the wonders of this remote landscape. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Summit
Day 8 Mt Roraima/Paraitepuy (1B, 1L, 1D) Continue trekking down from Roraima. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Trek Day 5
Day 9 Paraitepuy/Santa Elena de Uairén (1B, 1L, 1D) End the trek in Paraitepuy. Return to Santa Elena in the afternoon. Included Activities: Mount Roraima Trek Day 6 Transport: Walking Private Vehicle (1.00-1.50 hours, 50km)
Day 10 Santa Elena de Uairén/Ciudad Bolívar Travel by bus to Ciudad Bolívar. Transport: Local bus
Day 11 Ciudad Bolívar/Canaima National Park (1B, 1L, 1D) Fly to Canaima National Park. Continue by boat and hike to the view point of Angel Falls before returning to a jungle lodge for a night in hammocks. Included Activities: Canaima National Park (Parque Nacional Canaima) Visit Angel Falls (Salto Ángel) Visit Transport: Plane Boat Boat
Day 12 Canaima National Park (1B, 1L, 1D) Our day in the area allows us time for maximum enjoyment on the beautiful river beaches and plentiful walking paths.
Day 13 Canaima National Park/Ciudad Bolívar (1B) Fly back to Ciudad Bolivar. Free afternoon or optional city tour. Transport: Plane
Day 14 Ciudad Bolívar/Caracas Return to Caracas for some last minute shopping or visit the city’s museums or churches. Transport: Local bus (6.00-7.00 hours, 550km)
Day 15 Caracas Depart at any time. Included Activities: Departure Day
