The new arena was built by the company WTorre Properties / Arenas, of the WTorre Group, where was located the old Stadium Palestra Italy, also well-known like Park Antarctica. The arena has one of the most modern multipurpose venues in the country, and its stadium meets FIFA's standards and is accredited to receive the most relevant sports tournaments. With construction started in 2010, it was completed in November 2014.
