The Koni craze shows no sign of abating. The recipe is simple: temakis (seaweed hand rolls) stuffed with salmon, tuna, shrimp, roast beef or a combination of ingredients, which are then devoured at one of the tiny bistro tables.

It's healthy, tasty and cheap, which are a few of the reasons why you'll have to wait in line among the bar-hopping crowd for a roll at 1am on a Friday. There are numerous other branches around town.
