Bodega de Véio

Brazilian in Recife

The Recife branch of this Olinda classic, Bodega de Véio is part corner store, part bistro and is one of the few restaurants in the historic center that opens on Sunday when festivities in the area are in full swing. It's a fun place for a meal, a drink or to pick up some nail clippers.

The menu is limited to a variety of bar snacks and half-a-dozen typical meals – try the chicken in sauce. Service is very haphazard but that just adds to the charm.
