The bus station is 4km from the center of Ponta Porã. A local bus (R$3.50) runs between the main bus station and the central local bus station every 45 minutes until 10pm.

For Foz do Iguaçu, take a bus from the bus station on Av Carlos Domínguez in Pedro Juan Caballero (Paraguay, 2km west of the border) to Ciudad del Este (80,000 to 90,000G, eight hours, three daily), just across the border from Foz. You don’t need a Paraguayan visa to transit through Paraguay on your way to Foz do Iguaçu, but you do need an entry stamp.

As well as buses, there are minibus transfers from Campo Grande to Ponta Porã (R$65) but the schedule is only decided on a weekly basis. Contact 67 98472-1594 by phone or Whatsapp to get the latest.

Ponta Porã's airport had no scheduled flights at time of research, but there was talk of Azul adding it to their network.
