Gastronomy in Petrópolis

Following a 16-year international culinary career that included stints working at Catalonia's renowned Can Roca (voted 'world's best restaurant'), Petrópolis-born chef Lydia Gonzalez has opened this intimate 16-seat eatery in her home. The ever-changing, locally sourced dinner, cooked on Gonzalez's traditional wood-burning stove, bursts with uniquely Brazilian flavors: Mineiro chicken-and-rice stew, Taroco cheese, jambu leaves, guava paste, biquinho peppers and more.
