Explore the stories behind historical buildings, monuments and landmarks through the eyes of locals. The bike tour starts at one of the city’s most famous landmarks, Avenida Paulista, which is lined with corporate towers, hidden mansions, a beautiful park and a famous museum and is a popular meeting point for locals. Traveling on bike lanes, we ride from the city’s uptown to its center, where we cross avenues, streets and squares, cycle over and under overpasses and check out the local street art until arriving at the oldest part of São Paulo.
Always on the lookout for new discoveries, we cycle in the heart of city: Sé Cathedral, Patio do Colegio, which marks the city’s founding, the Stock Exchange, the Municipal Theater and the Japanese district Liberdade are just five of the many places you will have a chance to see. Each block of the city center reveals interesting stories, transforming the bike tour into an experience of constant discovery for travelers. Tours are available in the morning, afternoon or evening. During the day, you can experience the hustle and bustle of South America’s largest metropolis, while at night you can discover its more downbeat side. On the Historical Center Bike Tour, which lasts around three hours, you will ride from 15 km (9 mi) to 18 km (11 mi). The tour has several stops along the way to give you time to check out the local architecture, drink an iced tea or take a selfie with your new bike tour friends.
