Ilha do Mel is located in the state of Paraná, in the municipality of Paranaguá. It is a preservation area managed by the IAP (Environmental Institute of Paraná). The Island has 25 miles of beautiful beaches, deserted or with small urbanization. The population of the Island is distributed among some small villages: Encantadas, Nova Brasilia, Farol, Praia Grande and Fortaleza. To preserve the environment and prevent degradation of the Island, motor vehicles and animal traction are not allowed, and the number of visitors is limited to 5,000 people per day. A locomotion inside the Island is made by land rails, which gives an impression that the place stopped in time. It is only allowed a visit in delimited spaces of the Island. A large part of its territory consists of a preservation area, where access is not authorized.Tour is limited to a maximum of 13 travelers. Small Group
Paranaguá is a historical and tourist city of the first line of the seventeenth century, has as its main economic activity, production flow of Paraná, interconnecting the state to other countries abroad. The construction of its dozens of data of 1934, when it came to appear among the main ports of Brazil, with a denomination of Port Dom Pedro II. The tour starts with a train trip from Curitiba to Morretes are approximately 4 hours of walking and after the typical lunch Barreado, we will begin the transfer to the city of Paranaguá where we will visit some tourist attractions and know the aquarium of Paranaguá.
