This mobile safari has a privately designated campsite inside the park that is not accessible by the normal public allowing you a more private and exclusive safari. Deep within the National Park is where you'll stay which allows you to see parts of the park that guest staying in Kasane don't get to see. The game drive takes you to the overnight camping spot where you will be served drinks around the camp fire and then dinner.
Going on an overnight camping safari at Chobe National Park will give you the opportunity to see Botswana’s most fascinating animals and birdlife. Your journey will begin at your hotel in Kasane where you will be picked up for a morning departure.1 DAY 1 NIGHT SAFARIDay 1At 08h30 a short safety briefing will be held after pickup from your hotel with pertinent information on the region. At 09h30 guests will board a boat and begin a three hour cruise inside Chobe National park. This river cruise is one of the highlights of this trip, as you will have the chance to get up close with amazing birdlife, crocodiles, hippos, and the abundant Cape buffalo and elephant that go to the river to drink. At 12h30 the cruise will end. After a wonderful lunch you will have the chance to do some last minute shopping at Kasane for personal extras you may require, as there aren’t any shops inside Chobe. Guests will then go on a game drive in the park and explore the riverfront on the way to the Camp. This is guaranteed to impress even the most seasoned Safari goer and is the ideal time to spot the large herbivores of Chobe heading down to quench their thirst at the river. After sunset, guests will be returned to camp for a reflective fireside chat. A hearty bush dinner cooked on open fires will follow, accompanied by the memorable nocturnal sounds of the African bush.Day 2Guests are woken up at dawn and warm water is poured into their basins by staff. After a quick cup of coffee or tea, and a light continental breakfast, guests will depart on their final game drive. Thereafter you will leave Chobe to be driven back to Kasane between 08h30 and 09h00.
