This 7-hour adventure allows you to join a guided tour of Tito’s Cold War Bunker, a former nuclear bunker and military command center near Konjic. Traveling via minibus, you and the rest of your small group will also enjoy whitewater rafting on the Neretva river. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included. Expect to be served breakfast and lunch.
Via a minibus, you will depart from Mostar or Sarajevo at 8am. Upon arrival to Konjic, you will meet your English-speaking guide and tour Tito’s Cold War Bunker. Atomic War Command (Атомска Ратна Команда), also known as the ARK, was built during the Cold War with the purpose of protecting Tito and up to 350 members of high command in the event of a nuclear war.At the end of the Tito’s Cold War Bunker Tour, you will have breakfast. Then you will gear up and get transported to the rafting start location. Lunch is organized later in the day. The length of the tour is about 23 km, and it takes about five hours to complete. Along the way, rafters can enjoy breathtaking scenery and explore sites, such as Rakitnica canyon and numerous small cascades made by the tributaries of Neretva river. If you're an adrenaline junkie, you can jump off cliffs.The whitewater rafting adventure is for beginners and seasoned rafters. You can feel the the strength and beauty of the Neretva river in grades 1-3. A professional photographer will travel along with the small group, taking great photos of your rafting experience.The tour finishes around 5pm, and you can expect to return to Mostar or Sarajevo by 6:30pm.
