Vrelo serves reliably good food at a beautiful riverside location right at the edge of the Buna River where its waters pours out of the Blagaj cliff face.
The uppermost level looks across a horseshoe of rapids to the Tekija, but you might find your table jostled by insensitive tour groups pushing past to photograph the view. Other restaurant sections are charming too, with tables almost seeming to float on water when the river is running high. Trout, reared in the fish-farm 300m away, is served in 10 different styles, including probaj ova (in lemon sauce with pumpkin seeds; 16KM). Or try delicious squid stuffed with three cheeses (20KM).
