After picking you up at a prearranged meeting point, you’ll begin your journey with a drive to Bosnia and Herzegovina. On your way to the ancient Ottoman city Mostar, you’ll stop for a coffee break at the walled town Pocitelj, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. In Mostar, your local tour guide will introduce us to the great history of this city, widely known as “a window to the Orient”. You’ll visit the Old Bazaar and the Mosque. After this, you’ll enjoy a walk along the famous Turkish bridge from the XVI c. and you’ll have lots of spare time for exciting shopping and opportunity to taste authentic Bosnian specialties like cevapi, pita or burek. Afterwards, you’ll continue our trip to the one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in all Europe – Medjugorje. For believers and those who are looking for spiritual growth, the most compelling site here is the Podbrdo, place of apparition.
