Getting There & Away
There are two different routes to the northern end of the island – both reasonably maintained roads with wonderful vistas and little else. The wider, faster and more direct route cuts through the center of the island and approaches Rincon from the east.
The road along the west coast winds around the ins and outs of the shoreline, with spectacular vistas of the rocky seashore and frequent pullouts for the marked dive sites. About 5km north of Kralendijk the road becomes one way, northbound, so you are committed at this point. After another 5km, you reach a T-junction, with the left fork continuing along the coast (and further to Gotomeer) and the right fork turning inland toward Rincon.
