Begin an unforgettable trip through almost 7,500 square miles (12,000 km²) of fantastic landscapes of salt and surrealist landscapes of deserts and colored lagoons of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. The dazzling white mantle of the Salar de Uyuni resembles an immense glacier. In winter (dry season from May to October), when the surface hardens, geometric figures formed by the salt particles agglomerated into polygons appear. In summer (rainy season from November to March) the salt desert is transformed into a giant mirror that blends into the sky of the purest blue you've ever seen before.
Day 1: (L, D)To begin with this adventure, we pick you up from your Hotel in Uyuni, in your private mobility and your professional guide.Our adventure begins visiting an outdoor museum of ancient and impressive field trains.Enter the Salar by Colchani where we will see the salt processing and piles of salt, visit the hotel salt, eyes water and continue downtown to visit the Incahuasi Island of volcanic rock and giant cactus and a top that climb it becomes extraordinary viewpoint of the white salt plain. Then we'll go north, a distance of several kilometers to the Thunupa volcano, whose slopes accede to visit the Pucara of Ayque (pre-Columbian ruins), with great views, Coquesa Mummies and the Mirador de Thunupa, which ascend in car to near its crater for a breathtaking view of the Salar, in all its glory.Overnight at the Sal Hostel , which are ecological model and hotels with private bathroom, and excellent service.
