There are several basic hotels near the plaza, but if you plan on doing any hikes in the region, it is worth forking over a few extra bolivianos for a room at Country House where you can chat with the highly knowledgable English-speaking owner.

Food choices in town are limited to almuerzos (set lunches) and fried or grilled chicken near the plaza. There are also basic comedores (dining halls) near the tranca (police post).

Drinking & Nightlife

Chulumani is a pretty laid-back place. Most tourists grab some beers and watch the tangerine sunset from their hotel.
