This fantastic five-day hike (93km) passes through splendid and largely uninhabited wilderness. There is an extreme lack of support services along the way, so unless you are a highly experienced backcountry hiker, it's recommended to go with a guide.

The track stays mostly above 4000m and includes five high passes. You’re sure to see llamas and alpacas, as well as more elusive Andean wildlife, such as viscachas, vicuñas, condors and perhaps even a spectacled bear.
