The sophisticated circular restaurant at the Uma is considered the best in the valley. The set menu changes every three days, but focuses on fresh, healthy and locally sourced food. Lunch is simpler and includes the popular Uma cheese burger made from Wagyu beef and Bumthang 'Gouda' cheese. There are also set Bhutanese or Indian meals.
Bukhari is a small, intimate restaurant, so reserve ahead of time. For that special occasion ask about a private candlelit dinner in the lower courtyard.
